One of our recent brides, the beautiful Kathryn, grew up in Texas — so when it came time for her wedding, she knew she wanted to celebrate it back home.
To do it, she and her fiance would bring a posse of friends along with them from their current home, San Diego. Both wanted to celebrate Kathryn’s Hispanic heritage at the wedding, and as we all know, Mexican culture tends to yield some pretty fabulous parties.
To bring in that Mexican flair, we helped Kathryn and Grant design a wedding that was lively and celebratory. The setting? Gorgeous Camp Lucy.
For flowers, table setting, and name cards, we went with a Fall-friendly palette of rich oranges and neutrals combined with subtle turquoise accents:
In lieu of cake, guests dined on pie from Royers for dessert — a beloved treat the bride used to eat when she was a little girl. And in lieu of one band, this couple hired three! (Including a mariachi.) To that we say, me gusta.
Our beautiful couple danced the night away…
…and as a final wedding treat, Kathryn and Grant’s wedding was featured on Style Me Pretty!
We loved helping these two plan the wedding of their dreams, and wish them well back in San Diego!
